Polypedates colletti (Collett's tree frog, Collett's treefrog, Collett's whipping frog หรือ black-spotted tree frog) เป็นสปีชีส์ของกบในวงศ์ Rhacophoridae พบในคาบสมุทรมลายู (ไทยและมาเลเซีย), เวียดนามใต้, บอร์เนียว, สุมาตรา, และเกาะในทะเลจีนใต้ (รวมถึงหมู่เกาะนาทูนา)[2]
ศัพทมูลวิทยา
[แก้]คำแสดงคุณลักษณะ (specific name) colletti ตั้งเพื่อเป็นเกียรติแด่โรเบิร์ต คอลเลตต์ นักสัตววิทยาชาวนอร์เวย์[3]
ลักษณะ
[แก้]ตัวผู้ยาวได้ถึง 52 มม. ส่วนตัวเมีย 80 มม. เมื่อวัดจากจมูกถึงทวาร ส่วนจมูกมีลักษณะแหลมอย่างเห็นได้ชัด เยื่อแก้วหูมีสีต่างจากผิวหนังที่อยู่รอบ ๆ แผ่นหลังมักมีสีน้ำตาลหรือเทา เกือบทุกตัวมีลวดลายนาฬิกาทรายบนหลัง[4][5][6] ท้องมีสีขาวครีม[5][6] คออาจมีลวดลายคดเคี้ยวสีเข้ม[5]
ลูกอ๊อดเติบโตได้ถึงความยาว 33 มม. ส่วนหัว ลำตัว และหางมีลวดลายคล้ายหินอ่อน[4] ขามีลายขวางสีเข้ม[5][6]
ถิ่นที่อยู่และการอนุรักษ์
[แก้]Polypedates colletti อาศัยอยู่ในบริเวณที่ลุ่มป่าดิบชื้น รวมถึงป่าที่ถูกรบกวนเล็กน้อยและมีการทำไม้แบบเลือกตัด (selectively logged forest) ที่ความสูงถึง 600 เมตร เหนือระดับน้ำทะเล[1] ระหว่างช่วงผสมพันธุ์ ปาดชนิดนี้จะเกาะกลุ่มอยู่รอบแอ่งน้ำขังจากฝนตก[1][4] โดยตัวเต็มวัยจะเกาะอยู่ตามต้นไม้สูงประมาณ 1–2 เมตร[4] คาดว่าปาดชนิดนี้ถูกคุกคามจากการสูญเสียที่อยู่อาศัย สามารถพบปาดชนิดนี้ในพื้นที่อนุรักษ์หลายแห่ง[1]
