ลิขิตรักนี้เพื่อเธอ (อังกฤษ: Diya Aur Baati Hum แปลเป็นภาษาอังกฤษได้ว่า You are the lamp and I am the wick) is เป็นละครโทรทัศน์สัญชาติอินเดีย ออกอากาศทางช่อง Star Plus ตั้งแต่ 29 สิงหาคม 2011 ถึงวันที่ 10 กันยายน 2016 รวมแล้วออกอากาศได้ 1,487 ตอน นำแสดงโดย อานัส ราชิต และ ทิปิกา ซิงห์ ละครเรื่องนี้มีภาคต่อคือ Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh, Piyaji เริ่มออกอากาศตอนแรกในวันที่ 3 เมษายน 2017 และออกอากาศตอนจบในวันที่ 1 มิถุนายน 2018[2] ซึ่งทั้งสองเรื่องนี้ออกอากาศในประเทศไทยทางช่องไบรต์ทีวีทั้งคู่
Anas Rashid was cast[4] as Sooraj as Lead Protagonist of the show, Deepika Singh opposite Rashid was cast as Sandhya While Kanika Maheshwari[5] was cast as the Main Antagonist of the show. Recently (December 2012), According to the Producers of the Show, There will be a new cast member, Kiran Bhargava[6] entering in the show with a Reprise roles, The Story will be focusing on Sandhya's Dream, Where she decide to fulfill her dream, She joins a Night College The Situation will be worse for her, Sooraj and his Family is unaware about Sandhya's decision, Kiran[6] is the owner of the Night College.
Diya aur baati hum maintained its no 1 position on the ratings charts from the beginning till it completed 1000 episodes.[7] It became the no 1 show in India with 14.5 TVM, considered to be extremely good at that time.[8] It also became the only fiction show to have a rating of 6.6 on a Saturday.[9] In UK Diya aur baati hum is one of the most watched shows and also got a record viewership of 383,700 viewers .[10] Diya Aur Baati Hum is also known as one of the most popular teledrama in South Asia, along with Kyunki, Kahaani, Kasautti etc.
It was dubbed in Telugu on Star MAA as Eetharam Illalu. In the Tamil it aired under the title, En Kanavan En Thozhan on Star Vijay. However both Telugu and Tamil dubbed versions were discontinued by their respective channels after airing 1203 and 1077 episodes. After a popular demand from the Telugu viewers, Eetharam Illalu has been restarted and back on air on Star MAA from 19 February 2019.
Internationally it airs in Sri Lanka dubbed into Sinhala as Swapna on Sirasa TV and in Vietnam dubbed in Vietnamese as Vợ tôi là cảnh sát on VTVCab 5 Echannel, although the ending was altered with the family celebrating.[11][12] It also airs in Afghanistan in Pashto on Lmar TV as د مینې ډيوه.[13] On 2 January 2017 Dyia Aur Baati Hum started airing also in Slovakia as Sandhya - svetlo môjho života. It also began airing on CVM Television in Jamaica on 1 May 2017, as Made For Each Other.
It also began airing on TV1 in Lithuania as "Mano gyvenimo šviesa"
In Indonesia, the series is dubbed in Indonesian under the title Sandya, and airs on Indosiar.[ต้องการอ้างอิง]
It also airs successfully in Romania as'Destine Implinite', Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Bulgaria as 'Svetlinata Na moya jivot', Macedonia, Russia as 'Svet tvoey lyubvi', Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, Thailand as 'Likhit rak ni pheux thex', Vietnam, Uganda, Nigeria, Lithuania, Georgia as 'Dinastia', Cambodia as 'Veasna kon brosa srey',Indonesia and Pakistan and is watched by more than 148 Million viewers worldwide.[14]
However the Bengali and Marathi versions were stopped after 992 and 377 episodes, while the Malayalam version has completed 1,524 episodes which was more than the original version on Asianet. It was one of the top rated serial on Malayalam Television .
The creators of the show have launched a sequel series named Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh, Piyaji with the Anas Rashid and Deepika Singh not being part of it. In the new series Rhea Sharma plays Kanak, the grown up daughter of Sooraj and Sandhya; Avinesh Rekhi plays Uma Shankar and Neelu Vaghela and some characters among others reprises their role from first season. It begun airing from 3 April 2017 and ended on 1 June 2018.[15]
