วงศ์พิศวง หรือ Thismiaceae เป็นวงศ์ของพืชมีดอกที่ได้รับการยอมรับจากนักพฤกษศาสตร์หลายท่าน เช่น J. Hutchinson, Chase et al. 1995,[1] 2000;[2] Angiosperm Phylogeny Group 1998; Caddick et al. 2000;[3][4] Neyland 2002;[5] Thiele & Jordan 2002,[6] Merckx et al. 2006 [7] และ Woodward et al. 2007 [8]) แต่บางครั้งก็จัดรวมให้อยู่ในฐานะเผ่า Thismieae ในวงศ์ Burmanniaceae ในระบบ Kubitzki [9]และอื่นๆ ประกอบด้วย 5 สกุลโดยมี 3 สกุล (Afrothismia, Haplothismia และ Oxygyne) พบในโลกเก่า Thismia พบในเขตร้อนของอเมริกาและเอเชีย และเขตอบอุ่นในอิลลินอยส์ สหรัฐอเมริกา ญี่ปุ่น ออสเตรเลีย และนิวซีแลนด์ Tiputinia พบในอมาโซเนีย
