English: The Lockheed A-12 "Archangel" is a high-altitude, high-speed reconnaissance aircraft, which was a precursor to the more well-known SR-71 "Blackbird". Built under the OXCART Program for the CIA in order to replace the U-2, it was only active from 1967 to 1968. Out of 15 aircraft that were made, only nine of them remain as displays at various museums.
Lockheed A-12B two-seat trainer. This A-12 (aircraft #06927 / #124B) was the only two-seater version and was used for pilot training. It is known as "The Titanium Goose".
